About NFL Optimizer

NFL Optimizer is a free collection of NFL daily fantasy tools built around one exact lineup optimizer: the main dual-platform solver, DraftKings and FanDuel presets, a points-per-$1,000 value calculator, a salary allocation planner, a stack finder, and a Monte-Carlo lineup range simulator. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — there is no account system and nothing you enter ever leaves the page.

The solver, honestly described

The optimizer is an exact multiple-choice knapsack solver (dynamic programming with full FLEX-position enumeration), not a greedy heuristic: the lineup it prints is provably the highest-total-projection legal lineup under the numbers you gave it. The math runs in about 20 milliseconds on a full slate. Alternatives are generated by leave-one-out re-solving with a diversity filter, so each one is itself an exact optimum with one player banned. The full walkthrough lives in how lineup optimizers work.

Where the data comes from

The default player table on every tool is a clearly-labeled sample slate: fictional placeholder players on real team slots, with salaries in realistic DraftKings/FanDuel ranges and projections generated deterministically. It exists so the tools are instantly demonstrable. For real slates, paste your own CSV (Name, Position, Team, Salary, Projection) — DraftKings and FanDuel export headers are recognized. This site does not ship daily-updated salaries, projections, injury news or odds, and every page says so plainly.

What this site is not

Not affiliated with DraftKings, FanDuel, Rotowire or any daily fantasy platform — those names are their owners' trademarks, used here only to describe formats honestly (see the free-alternatives comparison). Not betting advice: DFS contests involve real money and real risk, no tool here can make them profitable, and nothing on this site predicts football outcomes. Play responsibly and only with money you can afford to lose (18+/21+ where required; help at 1-800-522-4700).

NFL Optimizer is part of a small independent network of tool sites, including SAT score calculators, email subject line tools and painting cost calculators. Questions or corrections: contact page.
